TRADITIONAL TANTRIC

YOGA

WHAT IS TRADITIONAL TANTRIC HATHA YOGA?

The ancient practice of yoga originated in India thousands of years ago and has since spread across the globe.
The word "yoga" comes from the Sanskrit word "yuj," which means to unite or join. Yoga aims to unite the body, mind, and spirit, creating a harmonious balance within oneself. It is not just a physical exercise but a way of life that encompasses various aspects of human existence.
“From one to another “
Yogis has been passing down knowledge and wisdom from one generation to another. In the context of yoga, it emphasizes the importance of tradition. We are evolving as humans, and some aspects of yoga need to evolve too. But if we ignore the wisdom that has been passed down for thousands of years, it's like driving a chariot without wheels. In all fields of knowledge, including yoga, we rely on the accumulation of knowledge and insights. We shouldn't ignore the wisdom gained from thousands of years of inner exploration. It's like jumping into the ocean without a life vest.
A lot of valuable and powerful knowledge in yoga was not written down in books. Instead, it was passed down orally from teacher to student, from one generation to another. This way, the sacred knowledge was preserved and protected over time. The information we can find in books is like the bones of the knowledge, but bones are lifeless and useless without a heart. Tradition is like the heart of yoga. It brings the practice to life in a meaningful and time-tested way that we can rely on for our own personal growth.

The only way to understand the meaning of a traditional hatha yoga class is to roll your mat and practice.
